When the soil is torn from under the feet, where words are reduced to lines



Followers cull those who fall beneath them



With all those who would defy. This agenda cannot rule all






This is not the end. This is no beginning. This is the centre of calamity






Ignite the flames, they must remain. The ash will blow away in the wind



Bridges collapsed, towers destroyed



There's no distinction between war and peace






Why is it that in the pursuit of profit, wholesale slaughter is the common theme?



Civilisation as they have willed it to be is as barbaric as it's ever fucking been






An extinction event of monstrous immensity



Outweighing anything this world has ever seen



The omnicidal maniacs in control are just steering us closer



Hurtling faster and faster towards our death






Still we put our faith in decisions made by those who would ensure our defeat



Dark days descend on our people, we are the ones who will feel the pain



Of all their fucking mistakes






Oblivious to it all, pointing the finger of blame



At the weak and the disabled, the meek and the impoverished



We call this thing society and defend it at all costs



A frightful delineation of life and the value we allow it to hold






I dream of cleaving the chains of this disease



To see a day when the air is safe to breathe



Dredging through the broken shards of what could have been



The solution is there, if you could only try and see



It's never lost til we stop looking, and even if it's just me
